||Indian Rave - This
song is almost unknown to the people of the world. It was
the first attempt by Sascha to make it big, and
unfortunately it almost failed. Before Sash! even came to
be, this release under the artist title: Careka was close
enough to being a hit that it gave rise to the following
hits. But this song was so much more than the first flop
- it was a taster into the world of Sash!, and highly
successful, thanks to what it spawned.
It's My Life - The first official single release from Sash! Although not a major influence on the pop music charts of Europe and the United States, this storming track soon got the attention of disc-jockeys, whose support for the second single helped bring "It's My Life" into a respected anthem on Europe's dance floors. As the first single from the album of the same name, this was the first taste of continental success by the team.
Mighty Break - Rumours are circulating that this track has already been released. The up-to-now track thought to be purely album is now the second single from the album. The track has been included on several dance mixes. A brilliant track, whether single or album. Congratulations for "Mighty Break", Sascha! More news on this shocking revelation is expected soon!
Encore Une Fois - As far as most critics are concerned, the first single of Sascha's history. "Encore Une Fois", a powerful dance track which had the honour of luscious French vocals from Sabine Ohmes, a fellow dance music enthusiast from Germany. Undoubtedly the breakthrough hit that Sash! had awaited for so long,"Encore Une Fois" was a huge club tune in Europe and also a commercial success in pop charts. Thousands of Europe's lovers of dance music showed their impeccable taste by buying the song, getting it into the Top Ten of over 20 countries, (including the UK,) and into the history books of dance music. "Encore Une Fois" was one of the best songs of 1996, and a leading dance anthem of all time.
Ecuador - The second major chart success from Sash!, which peaked at Number 2 in the official UK charts but hit the top spot in many other countries throughout the world and endured for weeks in 1997 to become one of that year's biggest tunes.The team's partner in this song was Rodriguez, (first name: Adrian,) whose forceful Latin American lyrics propelled the track back to the peaks that it's predessor had reached. "Ecuador" confirmed the fact that Sash! were the new BIG thing in dance music, and whet the fan's taste buds for future releases.
Stay - "Stay" was the third huge success for the very talented Sascha Lappessen and his production team, and the track was in yet another language! This time, the delicate but mighty voice of American-born La Trec were employed in what became the unforgettable dance ballad of Sash! This track's overall performance in Europe's pop charts was even better than "Ecuador" had been, although in some clubs, it's dance floor impact was compromised. "Stay" hit the number 2 position in the UK charts, the third time in a row that Sash! had enjoyed this honour, and stayed in the UK charts for several months.
La Primavera - La Primavera woke 1998 up with a bang! It's early springtime release at the beginning of March was perfect for the track, which entered Europe's pop and dancefloor charts and then refused to leave. This time, the gifted Patrizia Salvatore contributed her sensuous Italian voice to the track, which was the first release from the new Sash! album, "Life Goes On". The track kept the originality of Sash! but also showed the maturing musical creativity of Sascha Lappessen. This amazing track is still doing well throughout Europe.
Mysterious Times - The latest release from Sash! once again got to number two in the UK charts but went all the way in over 5 European countries. Vocals were by the brilliant Tina Cousins, an English singer enjoying her most successful hit ever. As for Sash! they were delighted with the song's success. The sales spoke for themselves - Mysterious Times is the most successful Sash! single so far!!!!
Move Mania - This song will be the third single released from the new album "Life Goes On" and it's due for release in November 1998. It features the voice of Shannon, who leads the fight for the single to win the same overwhelming success as "Mysterious Times."
It's My Life - The Album - The terrific debut album from Sash! Known affectionately as "The Album" to distinguish it from the single, these tracks have gone further than any other band of its genre. "It's My Life - the Album" is avaialble throughout the world in a number of formats, this album has kept the message of Sash! going through the first four singles and looks set to be joined by the forthcoming release, "Life Goes On."
Life Goes On - The new and highly anticipated album from Sash! shows just how far the band have progressed from the darker, underground days of 1995.
